• your business rates billing reference (9 digits long starting with 1)
• your debit or credit card

This service uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) v1.2 technology, a standard supported by major internet browsers. All of your personal and payment card details are protected using strong encryption when transmitted over the internet.

Set up or change a Direct Debit

The quickest and easiest way to pay your business rates is by Direct Debit.

Please make sure you have:

• your business rates billing reference (9 digits long starting with 1)
• your sort code and account number

To set up or make changes to your Direct Debit we can do this over the phone, so please call us.

Alternatively if you wish to set up a new Direct Debit please download a Direct Debit instruction and send it back to us.

Telephone payment

Our officers can no longer take card payments over the phone but you can still pay your Council Tax by debit or credit card using our 24 hour telephone payment line.

Dial 01603 430430 to use the automated line. Please ensure you have your business rates billing reference (9 digits long starting with 1) and your payment card to hand.

Bank transfer, Bacs or standing order

If you wish to pay your Council Tax by Bacs or standing order you will need to set this up with your bank.

Make your payment to Broadland District Council quoting your business rates billing reference (9 digits long starting with 1) and these details:

Post Office or PayPoint

Pay at a Post Office or PayPoint using the unique barcode situated on your bill.
