Councils’ Help Hub helping people into work
Two Norfolk councils are offering residents looking for employment, training or volunteering the support they need to find their perfect career.
Help Hub Employability, offered by both Broadland District Council and South Norfolk Council, is a friendly, free, personalised service with all the support residents may need in one place.
The service works with residents on a one to one basis to set small achievable goals, to help them with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in finding a job, training or voluntary position.
If you are unemployed or soon to be unemployed, if you have been made redundant, looking for a career change or leaving further education with no employment in place, Help Hub Employability can help make your next step easier.
This free service provides:
- one-to-one information and advice
- employment related benefits advice
- navigation to vacancies and training
- help to create a great CV and cover letter
- guidance on how to apply for a job and write an application
- assistance with interview techniques
- support with confidence building
