South Norfolk: Recycle your electricals

South Norfolk Council will be holding an electrical recycling event at Kett's Park on Friday 2 December.

This is your chance to recycle all those small electrical items that have been taking up space in your garage or cupboards and make room for the Christmas presents on your wish list.

South Norfolk Council Cabinet member, Graham Minshull said:

“Before COVID-19 our recycling events were really popular and we managed to find new homes for thousands of unwanted items. We want to make recycling as easy as possible for our residents and this is a great opportunity to recycle your unwanted items rather than putting them in the bin.“

You can drop off small household electrical items such as hoovers, kettles, lawnmowers and televisions but sorry, the Council cannot accept any fridges, freezers, hazardous waste or business waste at this event.

The electrical recycling event is open from 8:30am to 2pm in the car park at Kett's Park, Harts Farm Road, NR18 0WP

This is a drop-off recycling event only.
