ReCollect launches in South Norfolk

South Norfolk Council is launching a bin collection app from 24 October 2022.

The brand new app, called ReCollect, will help residents stay informed about bin collections and recycling information specific to their address.

South Norfolk Council’s Cabinet Member for Clean and Safer Environment, Graham Minshull, said:

“I am really excited to be launching the ReCollect app which will provide residents with up-to-date information about waste and bin collection. Having this platform where you can receive all bin guidance in one place will be a great way to keep residents in the loop and help us push forward with environmental targets.”

The app will display the bin collection days for your address, notify residents of updates or disruptions with bin collections, and provide information on what you can and cannot recycle. You can also set yourself a reminder to put your bins out, print your own bin collection calendar, and play a really exciting waste sorting game.

South Norfolk and Broadland Councils are aiming to achieve a 60% recycling rate across both districts. To push towards this, the Councils are taking steps to make recycling information quicker and easier to access.

Broadland District Council will launch its bin collections app later this year.

Download the free app today by visiting the App Store or Google Play and searching Bin Collections South Norfolk.
