This Saturday (22 May) Tots2Teens, the school holiday club run by Broadland District Council, is giving children the chance to try some of the exciting activities it offers during school holidays.

Cllr Fran Whymark, Portfolio Holder for Housing and Wellbeing said:

“We are very excited to host this day of fun and activities, open to all children and young people in the Broadland district.

“This is a chance to sample just some of the incredible experiences Tots2Teens has to offer during the school holidays.”

The taster day, being held at Carrowbreck House in Hellesdon, will host a variety of stalls and sessions for children, including Back to Basics Bushcrafters, who will be demonstrating how to survive in the wild.

Mini Donks will be bringing along four miniature donkeys, who are very happy to be stroked, fed and looked after and Lab Media will be showing young people how to control robots, as well as capturing out of this world photos using green screen technology.

There will also be sports, arts and crafts, and wildlife zones for children to take part in.

Children aged 5 to 16 years are welcome to have a go at all the activities on offer, for just £2 per child. Walk in spaces are available on the day but booking in advance is recommended for speedy entry.

All sessions on offer are suitable for those that may require extra support.

Bookings can be made by emailing broadlyactive@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk or calling 01603 430525. More information is available on the Facebook event page.
