Saving energy at home

Norfolk Warm Homes

The Norfolk Warm Homes Partnership is providing renewable heating and insulation grants to our residents to help keep homes warm across Norfolk. We want to help you live in a warmer home, reduce your property’s energy usage and carbon emissions. A well-insulated home will retain heat for longer, helping you save money on your heating bills.

What help is available?

Insulation

Insulation measures including cavity wall, solid wall, roof and loft insulation are available under this scheme. Find out more about these insulation types.

Please be aware that adequate ventilation is a requirement for any install under our funding in order to meet the PAS2035:2019 regulations. This is a requirement from our funder. Aran Insulation, our installing partner, explains what this could involve here.

Heating

If your property isn’t on the mains gas network then we may be able to help you replace your heating system with a renewable air source heat pump.

How do I qualify?

Eligible properties will have an energy performance rating (EPC) of E, F or G and a gross household income of £30,000 or less and no more than £50,000 in savings.

What if I’m a landlord or private tenant?

Eligibility will be assessed on the tenant’s household income as per the above criteria in “how do I qualify”. Landlords are required to contribute at least one third of the costs. Maximum available grants are dependent on the property’s EPC rating and heating type.
