Well being. Helping you live your life.

Wellbeing Champion Training

Provided by Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust

Wellbeing Champions care about where they live and work and understand the importance of talking about mental health and wellbeing.

The training is 1 to 1.5 hours long with a break and offers basic education about mental health, why people may struggle, and signs you may notice when someone is having a hard time. You will also learn how you might approach someone and start a conversation. Finally, you will learn about the Wellbeing Service and how we can offer support so you can effectively signpost. You will receive a PDF booklet afterward with all the information covered in the training and a comprehensive FAQ with information about Wellbeing and other services to help you signpost, as well as some resources to use in your workplace, business, or other community settings.

This training is also available online through The Wellbeing Service. If you do complete it online through this service, please ensure you email us your certificate so we can add you to your Mindful District network. You can email your certificate to communities@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk
