Our Nature Recovery
Nature is wonderfully resilient, given a chance. Create the right conditions and it will respond. When we work together, all our efforts, small or large, can bring real local change.
The Government has set forward a 25-Year-Plan a target to maintain and enhance the natural environment, and our individual actions can make a real difference, as the collective size of gardens in England is greater than the size of the nature reserves.
Nature recovery is all about how we restore habitats, protect wildlife and combat climate change. It’s about building resilient landscapes for the future through natural restoration.
South Norfolk District Council has risen to that challenge and in December 2023 endorsed ‘Our Nature Recovery’ to unite us in this critical common cause. We are encouraging communities to form volunteer nature recovery groups.
