Check your partner's history for abuse
The domestic abuse disclosure scheme (or "Clare's Law") allows you to find out if someone you're in a relationship with has a history of abusive behaviour towards previous partners.
You can make an application under the scheme by:
- telephone - contact the Police on 101 and speak with a call taker
- speaking to a member of staff at any Police station
- speaking to a Police Officer on the street
- completing the form on the Norfolk Police website
