Trowse with Newton Neighbourhood Plan

South Norfolk Council and the Broads Authority have designated a Neighbourhood Area that covers the civil parish of Trowse with Newton, for the purposes of developing a Neighbourhood Plan. This follows an application made by Trowse with Newton Parish Council as the designated Qualifying Body for preparing the plan. This designation was made in November 2019, in accordance with Regulation 5A of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

Since that time, a steering group of volunteers, working on behalf of the Parish Council has been developing a proposed Neighbourhood Plan for the parish, which has involved extensive evidence gathering and consultation with the community and other stakeholder bodies.
