Postwick with Witton Neighbourhood Plan
Postwick with Witton Parish Council has applied to Broadland District Council and the Broads Authority to designate a neighbourhood area for the purpose of producing a Neighbourhood Plan. The Parish Council is the relevant body to make this application, for the purposes of section 61G of the 1990 Town and Country Planning Act.
The area to be designated is that making up the civil parish of Postwick w. Witton. Regulation 5A of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012 (as amended) states that where the area proposed consists of the whole of the parish council’s area, the local planning authority must designate the neighbourhood area. This has now been done (to be endorsed by the Broads Authority at its Planning Committee on 18 August 2023).
