Land at Silfield Road and Swallow Drive Wymondham
South Norfolk Council and Wymondham Town Council have recently consulted residents on the future of a piece of land which lies adjacent to Silfield Rd and Swallow Drive in Wymondham.
There are two options for this piece of land, which are:
- Development of a new community building (already agreed through a planning permission), or
- Development of a landscaped area, along with a sum of money to be spent on improving community facilities in the town.
The consultation asked residents which of these two options they would prefer to see delivered. You can view further details of these two options in the exhibition materials below.
A total of 726 completed surveys were returned during the consultation period and a summary of the consultation results can be read in the report available via the link below:
South Norfolk Council will now use these results to negotiate a way forward with the developer regarding the future use of this piece of land.
