New support hub for business

Business regulatory support hub

Broadland and South Norfolk Councils have opened a new Business Regulatory Support Hub to offer a single dedicated and friendly point of contact for all new business enquiries.

South Norfolk Councillor Lisa Neal said:

“We all know that starting a new business can be an exciting but daunting prospect, so we would like to make your journey as smooth as possible by offering a more personal service.  The new Hub will make it much easier and quicker for new businesses to access advice and support.”

Broadland District Councillor Jo Copplestone said:

“With any business, good preparation is key to ensuring success. When you call us, we will ask you questions about your business and talk you through the first steps to make sure you have all the information you need on the licensing and registration laws relating to your business. The new Hub gives businesses an opportunity to ask questions if there is anything they are unsure about.”

The team in the Hub will also look for other areas where they may be able to help, including training courses and advice on any available enterprise grants, plus any other relevant support packages that may be available.  The team will also signpost businesses to other agencies that can offer useful advice and information.

The Business Regulatory Support Hub can offer help to businesses of all sizes and can even help those looking to relocate to either district.

The Business Regulatory Support Hub is open: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm, tel: 0345 034 8691 or email: Businesshub@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk
