COVID-19 information

Updated 16 July

Step four of the Government Roadmap restrictions comes in to play on Monday 19 July. Whilst we are looking forward to taking another step closer towards normality, the safety of customers and staff will continue to remain our priority.  With this in mind, the following changes will be in place to keep you and our staff safe:

  • visitors will be encouraged to wear a face covering when moving around the building
  • all customers are asked to maintain respectful spacing with other users
  • COVID one-way systems will be removed
  • we will only be accepting card payments
  • one person only to attend with their child for swimming lessons and any other activity
  • activity numbers will be increasing in all areas although not returning to full pre-COVID numbers just yet. Our relevant booking systems will be automatically adjusted to reflect this
  • booking systems will remain in place for the Soft Play area at Long Stratton, small pools, Fun and Float sessions, Wymondham Spa area and Wymondham early morning lane swimming
  • we will be bringing more equipment back, but in a measured way at first. The majority of activities will be moved back into their original location
  • gym members will no longer be required to book their session before visiting the centre, except for Diss Leisure Centre
  • all changing rooms will be open.

We have the following measures in place to keep the centre COVID friendly for you:

  • CO2 monitors are in all the main activity areas and changing rooms, monitoring the air quality
  • ventilation systems are set to fresh air
  • windows will be left open where possible
  • hand sanitising stations are available throughout the centre
  • cleaning stations or wipes available in activity areas to ensure users can maintain high standards
  • deep cleans are carried out daily, including electrostatic guns used
  • staff remain vigilant at all times.

Please keep an eye out on this page for further updates, or you can follow our Facebook pages for daily updates.

If you'd like to arrange a tour of your local centre before you join you can do so online.
