Sports Champion Grants

Funding for South Norfolk and Broadland has now closed. Applications will reopen on Tuesday 2nd April 2024.

The Sports Champions Grant supports Broadland and South Norfolk athletes who are performing at a high standard.

Grants of up to £300 can provide support on a one-off basis. Athletes who have received a grant from this scheme in the last 2 years cannot apply*.

Training and competing at a high standard takes time, money and commitment. The Sports Champion Grants recognises this and offers support towards some of these costs. Grant funding can be spent on club membership fees, coaching fees, sport equipment, travel costs, expenses and any other fees that contribute to the athlete’s participation in their sport.

Successful applicants will be offered support and information on other funding streams available to them, other initiatives and courses that may be relevant. We want to work with our champions to encourage them.

Grant funds are limited and are subject to availability.
