Future Paths

Future Paths is a career placement programme looking for qualities, not qualifications.

Our teams are planning the towns of the future, helping to improve the environment and keeping our communities safe. You could join them.

You don’t need any qualifications to be considered, all you need do is show us your skills and enthusiasm to start building the career you want.

Details of the placement

Gain real work experience within one of our teams and get a valuable insight into the incredibly important work councils do, whilst developing your own personal skills.

Week-long placements during the summer holidays. Placements are unpaid, but small bursaries may be available to help you with travel costs and any other costs you may encounter by taking part in the programme.

Anyone over 16 can apply.
