Please look below for our descriptions of our activities and their full addresses.

This half term we are providing snacks for free to your child/ren at all of our sessions, we cater to all dietary requirements and needs.

Please bring a packed lunch (for full day sessions) and a refillable drink bottle.

Tuesday 30 May

Fun Zone with simple science workshop

Come along and take part in a series of fun science experiments. As well as taking part in this activity, children will be able to play with games, take part in quiet activities and play outside (weather permitting).

Nerf battle
In partnership with SESMA Studio Norwich

This session starts with your battle kit being issued before a top secret and very important safety briefing. Then it’s into the zone for a fun-filled Nerf battle under the watchful eyes of your battlefield commanders! A selection from our most popular games will be played including Last Team Standing, Base Defender, Dodge Bullet, Quadrant Attack and Team Best Shot. Nerf weapons use safe foam ammo. Weapons, goggles and team bibs are supplied.

Fun Zone with butterfly cakes workshop

Come along and make butterfly cakes. As well as taking part in this activity, children will be able to play with games, take part in quiet activities and play outside (weather permitting).

In partnership with Norfolk Museums Service

Step into the past to find out about the life of a legionary soldier and citizen in 1st Century Britain in this interactive workshop. After lunch, design and make your own mosaic picture to take home.

Thursday 1 June

Perfect picnic   

Come along and learn how to prepare and cook a selection of dishes that you can take home to enjoy with your family. All ingredients will be provided. Please state at the time of booking if any dietary requirements need to be considered. Please bring a large container (a cardboard vegetable box is perfect) to take your cooking home in and an apron if you have one. 

Ahead of National Picnic Week that takes place later in June, come along and learn how to make dishes that are perfect to pack up and take out to your favourite picnic spot. Make Cornish pasties, potato salad and a tasty cous coussalad..

Outdoor activity day

Enjoy a day of outdoor activities including learning how to shoot blunt arrows on the archery range. Work as a team to navigate the low-level course which includes a series of ropes, bridges, balance beams and wire-walks. Also, use basic engineering skills to design and build a structure using lightweight poles and rope.  Participants should wear clothing that is suitable for outdoor activity, including a waterproof coat and sturdy shoes.

Fun Zone with under the sea crafts workshop

Come along and be creative as you try a range of under the sea themed crafts. As well as taking part in this activity, children will be able to play with games, take part in quiet activities and play outside (weather permitting).

Capoeira, basketball and fencing
In partnership with Capoeira Communities and LB Coaching

Have a go at the unique Afro-Brazilian cultural art form of capoeira –a mixture of dance, music, singing, acrobatics and martial arts. After lunch, take part in a basketball session where you can practice dribbling, passing and shooting baskets. You will also get to try the skilful sport of fencing. Please wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing and trainers, shoes and socks may need to be removed for parts of the capoeira session.
