When you go shopping in one of Norfolk’s lovely market towns and villages, you’re supporting independent shopkeepers, who love it when you pop in.
Grocers, butchers, barbers, bakers, delis, florists, chocolatiers, chemists, designers, pet shops …and much more, full of distinctive and local products. Along with tempting vintage tearooms, welcoming pubs and others - they are all ready to welcome you.
The main market towns in Broadland are Aylsham, Reepham, Coltishall and Acle. In South Norfolk they are Harleston, Loddon, Diss and Wymondham. In the villages in between and along the countryside roads you’ll find farm shops and farm gates all offering seasonal and local produce. Why are we doing this?
It’s important to support our market towns, so you can continue to enjoy shopping for all kinds of goods and services in an attractive place close by. It’s often conveniently easy to pick up what you need and it’s fun to have a quick chat with shopkeepers if you have the time.
Every extra pound you spend with a local and independent business safeguards local jobs, supports our local economy and keeps our market towns busy, interesting and beautiful. Thank you!
