Business rates - freedom of information

Download information relating to our current business rates customers:

• details of addresses, empty properties, relevant exemptions and rate reliefs are included - please note that in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), all personal data has been removed and appears as a blank cell
• ratepayers names are not provided for individuals, sole traders or partnerships as data protection prevents the publication of individual names
• the ratepayer is the person/party liable to pay the charge - in many cases this is a leaseholder or occupier and not an owner, it is not possible to identify the owners from our records
• account references are not included as these are personal to the account, and are used to ensure that a ratepayer is actually the account holder when they contact us

We proactively look to refund overpayments on a regular basis.

Please be aware that both downloads represent a snapshot of a given point in time. We aim to refresh this data on a quarterly basis.
