Community Action Fund

Funding applications for the Community Action Fund will open on 1st April 2026. The deadline for submission of applications is 16th August 2026.

There will be many community initiatives which will require larger amounts of funding. The Community Action Fund (CAF) is provided to support and fund these initiatives.

For the 2026/2027 round of CAF, local District Councillors are responsible for considering and proposing applications between £1,000 and £40,000 from the CAF fund.

Applications will be considered by the Grants and Awards Panel; who will meet up to two times per year to consider requests for CAF applications, but may allocate the full budget at the first.

Please contact your local district councillor, who will make an application for funding on your behalf.

All grant applications must have a separate confirmation of bank details to evidence that they are valid. This evidence must be a copy (paper copy, photo, scanned picture) of either a paying in slip or header of a bank statement.
