Community Action Fund

Applications reopened for submissions Friday 9 October. Applications will close Friday 11 December.

There will be many community initiatives which will require larger amounts of funding. The Community Action Fund (CAF) is provided to support and fund these initiatives.

For the 2026/2027 second round of CAF, local District Councillors are responsible for considering and proposing applications between £1,000 and £15,000 from the CAF fund. There is £62,666 remaining in the current 2026/27 year grant.

Applications will be considered by the Grants and Awards Panel; who will meet up in February to consider requests for CAF applications.

Please contact your local district councillor, who will make an application for funding on your behalf.

All grant applications must have a separate confirmation of bank details to evidence that they are valid. This evidence must be a copy (paper copy, photo, scanned picture) of either a paying in slip or header of a bank statement.
